The Duke football program kicked off its 2012 Spring Practice Wednesday morning under clear skies in Durham.
The Devils, who will practice 15 times this spring, ran a number of one-on-one drills before moving to various team exercises.
"I was thrilled coming out of the gate", Cutcliffe said after practice. "It was like I wanted it to be. The execution offensively was exceptional and on defense there were a lot more familiar faces."

The Blue Devils will evaulate their first practice in team meetings and film sessions before hitting the field for the second time Friday morning.
