DURHAM, N.C. -- Redshirt senior quarterback Sean Renfree completed 13-of-19 passes for 197 yards
and two touchdowns while freshman safety Dwayne Norman returned an interception
55 yards for a score to highlight Duke's 80-snap scrimmage on Monday evening at
Wallace Wade Stadium.
Renfree tossed scoring passes to wideout Conner Vernon and
running back Patrick Kurunwune covering 43 and 50 yards, respectively. Vernon

gained 43 yards on eight attempts.
"All in all, we had a good night," said Duke head coach David
Cutcliffe following the session. "We wanted to remain healthy, and I think we
did that. We will now have the opportunity to look at the film and evaluate
where we are on offense, defense and in the kicking game. It was great to see
some big plays on both sides of the football tonight - that is always refreshing
to a head coach."
Backup quarterback Anthony Boone was 11-of-20 through the air
for 126 yards while freshman Thomas Sirk hit on four-of-eight throws for 37
