Team Notes:

•    Duke played its 198th straight game as a top-10 team (166-32, .838). Duke improved to 53-11 (.828) all-time when ranked No. 4 in the AP Poll.
•    Duke improved to 12-0 at home this season. Duke has started 12-0 at home in five of the last six seasons.
•    Duke had one 30-point scorer and two 20-point scorers for the first time since Jan. 17, 2002 when Jason Williams scored 34, Mike Dunleavy 21 and Carlos Boozer 20 in a 99-78 win over No. 3 Maryland.
•    Duke hit 10 three-pointers in the first half, the Blue Devils’ most in a half since hitting 10 on Dec. 8, 2010 versus Oregon. It was Duke’s most treys in a half versus an ACC opponent since hitting 10 against Miami on Feb. 20, 2010. Duke has hit 10 threes in a first half 12 times in school history.
•    Duke held a double-digit lead for all but 4:39 of the game. It took Duke 3:26 to build a double-digit lead at the start of the game.
•    Duke came out hot for the second straight game, outscoring N.C. State 20-5 over the first six minutes of the game. The Blue Devils also outscored Florida State 18-2 over the first six minutes of their last game on Feb. 2.
•    Duke held N.C. State without a field goal over a span of 4:54 in the first half. The Blue Devils went on an 11-1 run during that span while forcing the Wolfpack to miss 11 consecutive field goals until Scott Wood hit a three-pointer to cut the score to 25-9.
•    Duke scored 22 second-half points on free throws. Duke shot .786 from the line (22-of-28) with Mason Plumlee going 7-for-10 and Seth Curry going 8-for-10.
•    Five Blue Devils scored in double figures in the first half, led by Seth Curry with 18. Mason Plumlee scored 15, and Quinn Cook had 12. Rasheed Sulaimon just missed reaching double figures in the first half with nine points.
•    Duke carried a lead of at least 20 points into the half for the second straight game and for the fourth time this season.
•    Duke started two freshmen – Amile Jefferson and Rasheed Sulaimon – for the fifth straight game. The last time Duke started a pair of freshmen in five straight games was the 2006-07 season when Jon Scheyer and Lance Thomas started together from Jan. 18 to Feb. 1.
•    Duke scored at least 40 points in the first half for the fourth straight game.
•    The starting five combined for a season-high 92 of Duke’s 98 points with four of those five scoring in double figures. Duke’s starters average an NCAA-leading 68.7 points per game, or 87.0 percent of the team total. Duke’s starters have scored at least 70 points in three straight games.
