Freshman Alexis Jones • Named to the Norfolk Region All-Tournament team. • Had nine points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals. • Dished three assists to finish the NCAA Tournament with 26, which is tied for the most by a Duke player in the NCAA Tournament. • Finished the season with 144 assists, which is the second-most by a freshman at Duke in a single season. • Had 63 steals on the year, which is the fifth-best by a freshman at Duke.
Junior Tricia Liston • Named to the Norfolk Region All-Tournament team. • Finished the season with a school-record 80 three-pointers made. • Had a team-high 19 points, while grabbing six boards. • Has scored double-digits in eight consecutive NCAA Tournament games dating back to last season. • Registered double-figure scoring for the fourth straight game of the tournament, 23rd time this season and 49th time over her career. • Had her streak of 29 straight free throws made come to an end in the second half.
Junior Haley Peters • Scored 13 of her 15 points in the second half. • Had 10 rebounds, two steals and one assist. • Notched her 10th double-double of the season and 11th of her career with 15 points and 10 rebounds. • Finished the season with 264 rebounds, which is the 10th most in school history.
Sophomore Elizabeth Williams • Snapped a steak of 23 straight double-figure scoring games as she finished with eight points. • Had six rebounds and three blocked shots. • Became the 31st player in Duke history to reach 1,000 career points and the fourth-quickest player in school history to reach 1,000 points in only 69 games. • Blocked a shot for the 69th straight game since arriving at Duke, which continues her ACC record streak.
Senior Allison Vernerey • Played in her 140th career game, which is tied for second on Duke’s all-time charts. The school record is 142 by Mistie Williams (2002-06).
Other Duke Notes… • Played in a NCAA regional final for the 11th time out of the last 16 years. • Went up against a No. 1 seed in the Elite Eight for the third straight year. • Blocked 187 shots on the year, which was the eight-most by a Duke squad. • Made 193 three-pointers on the year, which is the sixth-most by a Duke team. • Lost for the first time this season when leading at the half (29-1). • The 21 turnovers was a season high in the 2013 NCAA Tournament for the Blue Devils. • Allowed a season-high 87 points. • The 87 points was the second-most allowed by Duke in the NCAA Tournament over its 20 appearances.
