DURHAM, N.C. -- The entire Duke offensive lined earned Ronald McDonald House Duke Charities Student-Athlete of the Week honors after paving the way to 358 yards and five touchdowns on the ground during the Blue Devils’ 48-30 victory over No. 24 Miami.
The starting unit of Takoby Cofield, Dave Harding, Matt Skura, Laken Tomlinson and Perry Simmons also allowed just one sack as Duke amassed 543 total yards and topped the 35-point mark for the seventh time this season. The crew helped running back Josh Snead secure a career-best 138 yards on just nine carries, while also leading quarterback Brandon Connette into the end zone of four occasions.
Duke extended its win streak to six games and improved to 8-2 (4-2) on the year. The victory also helped propel the Blue Devils into the top 25 of the AP Poll for the first time since the 1994 season.
