DUKE CLINCHES SHARE OF COASTAL DIVISION CROWN: For the first since the ACC went to divisional play in 2005, Duke will claim at least a share of the Coastal Division title … the Blue Devils can win the division outright with a win next Saturday at North Carolina … Duke is 5-2 in the ACC, marking the most conference victories in a season since 1994 (5-3) … in the eight seasons of ACC divisional play, prior to 2013, Duke won a total of nine league games … Duke’s last ACC Championship came in 1989 when the Blue Devils shared first place with Virginia (6-1)

DUKE MATCHES SCHOOL WIN RECORD: Duke won its ninth game of the season, matching the school record for wins previously held by the 1941, 1938, 1936 and 1933 Duke teams … all four of those teams finished the season 9-1

WIN STREAK REACHES SEVEN: Duke won its seventh game in a row, tying for the fourth longest win streak in school history … Duke’s last win streak of at least seven games came in 1994 … the 1941, 1938 and 1933 Duke teams won nine games in a row … Duke also won seven games in a row in 1989 and 1930

101st SEASON: Duke is in its 101st season of football and played its 991st game … Duke now holds an all-time record of 473-492-31

DUKE STAYS UNDEFEATED ON THE ROAD: Duke won its fourth road game of the season to improve to 4-0 away from Wallace Wade Stadium this season … Duke has also defeated Memphis (28-14), Virginia (35-22) and Virginia Tech (13-10) on the road this season … the last time Duke defeated four teams on the road was in 1988 when the Blue Devils went 4-1-1 in away games … the school record for road wins is six, set in 1952 … Duke has gone undefeated in road games seven times, most recently in 1962

DUKE REACHES 20 PASSING & RUSHING TOUCHDOWNS: The 2013 Blue Devils became the first team in school to pass for 20 touchdowns and rush for 20 touchdowns in the same season … Duke has had a passing and rushing touchdown in eight of 11 games this season.

FOURTH-QUARTER DEFENSE: Duke shut out Wake Forest in the fourth quarter … Duke is averaging 3.1 points allowed per period in the fourth quarter this season while scoring 10.0 … Duke entered the Wake Forest game with the biggest scoring differential in the fourth quarter in FBS …  Duke has been outscored in the fourth quarter by only Virginia Tech (3-0) this season … Duke has shut out the opposition in the fourth quarter five times in 2012, including back-to-back games against Miami and Wake Forest

DUKE OVERCOMES TWO-TD DEFICIT: For the second time this season, Duke overcame a two-touchdown effort in a victory … Duke previously overcame a 22-0 deficit at Virginia to win 35-22 … Duke also faced two-touchdown deficits in a 58-55 loss to Pittsburgh and a 38-14 loss to Georgia Tech … Duke has not trailed by more than 10 points in any other game this season.

NOSE GUARDS STEP UP: Duke nose guards Jamal Bruce and Carlos Wray combined for 13 tackles … Bruce recorded a career-high eight stops while Wray matched a career high with five

DE Kenny Anunike: Recorded back-to-back sacks for a combined loss of 20 yards to back Wake Forest up from the Duke 28 to the Duke 48 … sacks were his team-leading fifth and sixth of the season and 14th and 15th of his career

WR Johnell Barnes: Posted his first multi-reception game with three catches for 33 yards

QB Anthony Boone: Completed 24-of-29 (.828) passes for 256 yards and three touchdowns … the .828 completion percentage is the third best in a single game in school history … totaled 313 yards with a career-high 57 rushing yards … posted a pass efficiency rating of 191.05 … completed 14 consecutive passes for 197 yards and two touchdowns … the 14 consecutive completions matches the fifth longest streak in school history … posted his third career game with three or more touchdown passes

NG Jamal Bruce: Recorded a career-high eight tackles … had a half-tackle for loss

CB Ross Cockrell: Recorded an interception and pass breakup, breaking Duke’s career record for total passes defended with 52 (12 interceptions, 40 pass breakups) … John Talley (2003-06) held the previous record at 51 … Cockrell’s interception ended Wake Forest’s final drive in the fourth quarter to secure the Duke victory

QB Brandon Connette: Scored his 30th career rushing touchdown … became the third quarterback in ACC history to score 30 rushing touchdowns in a career … his rushing touchdown from three yards out in the third quarter put Duke ahead 28-21 and gave Duke the lead for the remainder of the game

WR Jamison Crowder: Caught 10 passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns … moved into second place on Duke’s single-season list with 83 receptions, surpassing the 76 he caught in 2012 … became only second player in Duke history to catch at least 80 passes in a season (Conner Vernon, 85 in 2012) … moved into fourth place on Duke’s career receptions list with 173, surpassing Wes Chesson (164), Roger Boone (168) and Scottie Montgomery (171) … caught his 13th and 14th career touchdown passes to move into ninth on Duke’s career list … moved into seventh place on Duke’s career receiving list with 2,314, passing Corey Thomas (2,267) … caught a 58-yard touchdown pass, his school-record eighth touchdown catch of at least 50 yards … posted his first multi-receiving touchdown game of the season and second of his career … posted his second straight 1,000-yard season, becoming only the second player in Duke history to record 1,000 receiving yards multiple times (Clarkston Hines in 1987, 1988 and 1989) … the 100-yard receiving game was his sixth of the season, tying the Duke single-season record held by Hines (1987, 1988) … it was his 11th career 100-yard receiving game, the second most in school history … posted his 20th career five-reception game, becoming only the third Duke players to reach that mark … sits one five-catch game shy of tying Clarkston Hines for second place on that list … posted his fourth career game with at least 10 receptions, tying Roger Boone (1986-89) for second on Duke’s career list

DE Justin Foxx: Recorded his fourth sack of the year for a loss of 14 yards to kill Wake Forest’s first drive of the game and move the Deacons from Duke’s 30-yard line to the 44 and out of field goal range … recorded a sack in his third straight game

LB David Helton: Led Duke in tackles with eight and added his first sack of the season

WR Max McCaffrey: Caught his fourth touchdown pass of the season, a game-tying four-yard fade from Anthony Boone in the second half

S Deondre Singleton: Recorded six tackles and caused his second career fumble, which was recovered by Duke LB Kelby Brown

NG Carlos Wray: Matched a career-high with five tackles and added a QB hurry
