Atlanta, Ga -- Following a physical morning practice, members of the Duke football team took a trip to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, a local hospital providing care for children suffering from a number of serious diseases and conditions.

The Blue Devils split into several groups, visiting patients in their rooms and in the clinic's "The Zone" room where the Blue Devils spent time with patients playing air hockey, decorating football helmets and playing video games.

The Blue Devils also signed autographs and took pictures while bringing some post-Christmas holiday cheer.

The Blue Devil Network caught up with quarterback Thomas Sirk and linebacker Kelby Brown to get their reaction to a day full of positive activities ranging from the physically taxing, to the mentally uplifting, to the downright goofy.

Check back with GoDuke.com throughout the week for exclusive coverage of Duke’s Chick-Fil-A Bowl experience, and be sure to check out Duke Football, Duke Athletics and the Blue Devil Network on Facebook and Twitter for real-time updates from Atlanta.
