Atlanta, Ga. -- The Duke football team visited the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site Sunday afternoon and heard from Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient C.T. Vivian in Ebenezer Baptist Church, where King, his father and grandfather served as pastors.

Members of the team posed questions to Vivian about his role and experience in the civil rights movement and heard Vivian's first-hand anecdotes about King and others who fought for African-Americans' rights.

Following the presentation, the Blue Devils visited Dr. King's memorial and other monuments erected in honor of the movement.

The Blue Devil Network spoke afterwards to wide receiver Issac Blakeney and offensive guard Laken Tomlinson to hear what they learned from one of the week's most important events.
