DURHAM -- As Duke prepares for the Chick-Fil-A Bowl on New Year's Eve against Johnny Manziel and the Texas A&M Aggies, the Blue Devil Network is taking a look back at the best plays from Duke's historic 2013 football season.
Each day leading up to the game, check back with GoDuke.com for another one of the moments that helped Duke to the first 10-win season in program history, and the school's first ACC Coastal Division championship.
Our number two play comes from the defensive side of the ball, as redshirt junior linebacker Kelby Brown picked off Virginia Tech's Logan Thomas to help seal Duke's 13-10 win over the Hokies in Blacksburg, Va.
In Duke's most blue-collar win of the year, the Blue Devils' defense snagged four interceptions and batted away 10 passes to help earn the program's first road win over a ranked team since the 1971 season. The victory also made Duke bowl eligible for the second straight year.
Brown would go on to earn Walter Camp National Player of the Week honors for his effort against Virginia Tech, and eventually claim All-ACC honors at season's end.
