DUKE IN BOWL GAMES: Duke is now 3-7 all-time in bowl games … Duke set the following school bowl game records: points (48), points in a quarter (24 – 2nd), points in a half (38 – 1st), total offensive yards (661) and passing yards (427)

TOTAL OFFENSE: Duke registered 661 yards of total offense to mark the third-highest single-game total in school history, trailing 728 versus Davidson (1941) and 706 versus Wake Forest (1982)

OFFENSE SCORES 38 POINTS IN FIRST HALF: Duke scored a season-high 38 points in the first half, scoring on all six drives of the half … the 38 points are Duke’s most in a half since Duke scored 41 in the first half against Wake Forest on Nov. 13, 1999

DUKE SCORES TDs ON FIRST FIVE DRIVES: Duke scored touchdowns on its first five drives of the game and scored on all six drives of the first half … the only time Duke scored on its first four possessions in the David Cutcliffe Era was Oct. 30, 2010 against Navy (FG-TD-TD-TD)

DUKE TOPS 200 RUSHING YARDS: Led by the RB duo of Josh Snead and Juwan Thompson, Duke eclipsed 200 rushing yards for the fourth time this season … the four 200-yard rushing games are Duke’s most in a season since 2003 when Duke had six 200-yard rushing games

SNEAD BLOCKS PUNT: RB Josh Snead blocked Texas A&M’s first punt of the game to set up an 11-yard TD run by Anthony Boone … the blocked kick was Duke’s third of the season, following blocked field goals by Kenny Anunike (vs. Georgia Tech) and Sydney Sarmiento (vs. Pitt) … Duke has blocked 11 kicks in six seasons under head coach David Cutcliffe

DUKE RECOVERS ONSIDE KICK: Duke recovered an onside kick on its final kickoff of the first half to set up an 18-yard field goal as time expired

DE Kenny Anunike: Finished the season with 57 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss & 6.0 quarterback sacks … led Duke in both tackles for loss (13.5) and sacks (6.0) … became just the second player in Duke history to lead the Blue Devils in sacks in three consecutive seasons, joining Chris Combs (1996-97-98-00) … in 54 career games, posted 148 tackles, 26.0 tackles for loss and 15.0 sacks … sack total ranks tied for fourth on Duke’s all-time chart

QB Anthony Boone: Against Texas A&M, completed 29-of-45 (.644) passes for a career-high 427 yards with three TDs & two INTs … logged his first career 300-yard passing game … dropped to 10-2 all-time as a starting QB … for the season, completed 206-of-322 (.640) passes for 2,260 yards with 13 TDs & 13 INTs while rushing 66 times for 214 yards and four TDs … pass completion percentage mark ranks as tied for the third-highest single-season total in Duke history … pass efficiency rating of 128.18 ranks as the seventh-highest single-season total in Duke history … surpassed 2,000 career passing yards for the 22nd 2,000-yard passing season in Duke football history (12 players) … posted five games with 2+ passing TDs in 2013 to match the sixth-highest single-season total in Duke history … now with 3,089 career passing yards, ranks 15th on Duke’s all-time list for passing yardage … now with 10 career rushing TDs, ranks fifth on Duke’s all-time list for rushing TDs by a QB … became the fifth QB in school history to rush for 5+ touchdowns and pass for 5+ touchdowns in a single season, joining Leo Hart (1969 – 7 rush & 5 pass), Mike Dunn (1977 – 7 rush & 7 pass), Dave Brown (1991 – 5 rush & 20 pass) and Brandon Connette (2013 – 14 rush & 13 pass)

WR Johnell Barnes: Caught two passes for 48 yards … logged receptions of 33 and 15 yards … on the season, caught 15 passes for 217 yards … yards per reception of 14.47 is the fifth-highest single-season total by a Duke freshman

WR Brandon Braxton: Against Texas A&M, caught three passes for 17 yards … for the season, had 39 receptions for 361 yards and two TDs … finished third on the team in both receptions and receiving yards … in 46 career games, recorded 88 receptions for 893 yards and three TDs … finished career ranked 30th on Duke’s all-time chart for pass receptions

CB Breon Borders: Against Texas A&M, recorded three tackles … for the season, recorded 26 tackles, four interceptions and eight pass breakups … on Duke’s single-season charts for freshmen, totals rank first for interceptions and tied for second for total passes defended (12)

LB Kelby Brown: Against Texas A&M, recorded eight tackles, 1.5 for loss … for the season, carded 114 tackles, 11.0 tackles for loss, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles, two PBUs and a team-leading eight QB hurries … tackle total marks the 37th-highest single-season total in school history

S Jeremy Cash: Against Texas A&M, recorded four tackles, 1.5 for loss … for the season, carded 121 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, four interceptions, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and four PBUs … tackle total marks the tied for 27th-highest single-season total in school history

CB Ross Cockrell: Against Texas A&M, recorded six tackles and one PBU … for the season, carded 46 tackles, two tackles for loss, three interceptions, one forced fumble and 13 PBUs … on Duke’s single-season charts, totals rank tied for fourth for PBUs and tied for fifth in total passes defended … in 49 career games, recorded 233 tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 quarterback sacks, 12 interceptions, 42 PBUs and two caused fumbles … finished career as Duke’s all-time leader in both PBUs and total passes defended while interception total ranks sixth on the school’s all-time list

QB  Brandon Connette: Had a three-yard TD run, his 14th rushing touchdown of the season, tying the school single-season record held by Winston Siegfried in 1941 … For the season, completed 90-of-145 (.621) passes for 1,212 yards with 13 TDs & six INTs while rushing 101 times for 337 yards and 14 TDs … led Duke in total TD responsibility (27) on 14 rushing TDs & 13 passing TDs … set school single-season record for TD responsibility with 27, breaking the previous standard of 26 set by Anthony Dilweg in 1988 … became the first QB in Duke history to post 10+ rushing TDs & 10+ passing TDs in a single season … set school single-season record for rushing TDs by a QB … finished second on the team in total points (84) … point total marks the fifth-highest single-season total in Duke history … career total of 31 rushing TDs ranks first all-time at Duke … set school record for most TD responsibility in two consecutive games with 11 against Pitt (6) and Troy (5) … matched school record for most TD responsibility in three consecutive games with 12 versus Georgia Tech (1), Pitt (6) and Troy (5)

WR Jamison Crowder: Against Texas A&M, caught a career-high 12 passes for a season-high 163 yards and a TD … broke the ACC’s single-season reception record (109), surpassing the previous record of 98 set by Wake Forest’s Kenneth Moore in 2007 … broke the Duke bowl game records for receiving yards (163) and receptions (12) … caught a 59-yard touchdown pass for his 17th career TD reception and his ninth career TD catch of 50+ yards

S Deondre Singleton: Against, Texas A&M, recorded two tackles … on the season, recorded 62 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss and four pass breakups … tackle total ranks 10th on Duke’s single season chart for freshmen
