Career: Graduated from Duke in December, 2008 with a degree in sociology... four-year letterwinner and three-year starter at safety ... tallied 180 career tackles with three seasons of 50 or more ... recorded four career interceptions with three as a senior ... had six tackles for loss, two sacks and two caused fumbles in his career ... played over 750 snaps as both a sophomore and senior.

2008: Two-year starter at strong safety ... listed second on the depth chart following spring practice and is expected to compete for the starting spot ... most experienced player in the secondary with 20 career starts ... in 35 career games, has 122 tackles, eight PBUs and one interception.

2007: Played in all 12 games with nine starts at strong safety ... ranked sixth on the team with 58 total tackles ... tied for second with five pass breakups ... registered a career-high eight tackles at Virginia ... logged seven stops against Northwestern, Wake Forest and Florida State ... posted five or more tackles in eight of the 12 games ... played a total of 696 snaps on the season with 571 on defense and 125 on special teams ... had six games with 70 or more plays, including a season-high 96 at Northwestern ... named a game captain for the Virginia game.
