Senior women's fencer Sean Cadley was named Ronald McDonald House Charities Duke Student-Athlete of the Week after going undefeated at the Philadelphia Invitational on Saturday at Temple University.
Cadley, a saber, posted an 18-0 record to lead the Duke women to three victories at the tournament. A senior from New York, N.Y., Cadley improved to 32-1 on the season and currently leads the Duke women in wins and winning percentage. Behind her undefeated performance, the Duke women's sabers went 5-1 at the Philadelphia Invitational and boast an 8-3 record on the season.
Cadley and the Blue Devils will resume their 2013 season this weekend on Sunday, Feb. 3, at the MIT Duals in Cambridge, Mass.
