Duke Returns Home for Test Against No. 13 Dartmouth
Sixth-ranked Duke returns home to Koskinen Stadium Sunday, March 17 to face No. 13 Dartmouth after collecting a pair of road victories over then-No. 11 Georgetown and Jacksonville ... The Blue Devils remained No. 6 in the latest IWLCA Coaches Poll and are 6-0 this season against non-conference foes ... Dartmouth enters the weekend matchup with a 4-1 overall ledger after falling to No. 2 Florida, 14-9, on March 9 in Hanover, N.H.

Dartmouth Series History
Sunday's contest marks the 18th all-time meeting between Duke and Dartmouth with the Blue Devils holding an 11-6 advantage in the series ... Duke has won seven of the last eight meetings with the Big Green. 

Last Time We Met
The last meeting between the two teams came in Hanover, N.H., on March 17, 2012 ... The Blue Devils trailed Dartmouth by three at halftime and came back to tie the game, but the Big Green delivered a game-winning goal in double overtime to top Duke by a 9-8 score ... Both teams were ranked nationally coming into the contest, with Duke at No. 4 and Dartmouth No. 17 in the IWLCA poll ... The Blue Devil defense limited the Big Green to just two goals in the second period and knotted the game at 8-8 with 4:38 remaining before Dartmouth's Sarah Plumb netted the deciding goal in extra time ... Senior Makenzie Hommel and junior Molly Quirke paced the offense with two goals each in the loss.

Duke vs. the Ivy League
The Blue Devils are 27-19 all-time against teams from the Ivy League conference ... Duke has faced Dartmouth more than any other team in the Ivy League.

Redshirt junior Maddie Salamone has won a career-high 30 draw controls through eight games ... In goal, freshman Kelsey Duryea earned ACC Defensive Player of the Week honors this week and owns a 10.00 goals against average and a .533 save percentage in four games this season.

Scouting the Big Green
Dartmouth enters the weekend with a record of 4-1 after falling to Florida, 14-9, in its last outing on March 9 ... Liz Calby is the team's top point scorer with 20 points on 12 goals and eight assists while Hana Bowers has notched a team-leading 13 goals in five games this spring ... Courtney Bennett leads the Big Green at the draw with 18 draw controls ... Kristen Giovanniello has posted a 4-1 record in goal for Dartmouth to go with an 8.45 goals against average and a .377 save percentage.

Last Time Out
Freshman attacker Kelci Smesko collected the first hat trick of her career to lift No. 6 Duke to a 10-7 victory over Jacksonville Wednesday, March 13 in the first meeting between the two programs ... The Blue Devils had a one-goal advantage at halftime and outscored the Dolphins 6-4 in the second period to earn their third consecutive win and second on the road ... Smesko and sophomore Kerrin Maurer (2g, 1a) paced the offense with three points each while redshirt junior Maddie Salamone won six draw controls and sophomore Taylor Trimble four ... Sophomore Gabby Moise finished the game with two caused turnovers and freshman goalkeeper Kelsey Duryea totaled nine saves in her third start of the season.

In the Month of March
Duke has played 120 games in March in program history ... The Blue Devils are 85-35 all-time during the month ... The squad is 3-0 in the month this year following Wednesday's win over Jacksonville ... Duke last lost in March on March 30, 2012 in a 4-2 decision against North Carolina in Chapel Hill.

Home Sweet Home
The Blue Devils have been tough to beat at Koskinen Stadium in recent years ... From 2007-12, the program notched a 48-10 record when playing at home, including 10-0 marks in both 2007 and 2011 ... Duke is 5-0 in Koskinen this season and 123-38 all-time in home contests ... The Blue Devils' last home loss was a 12-3 defeat at the hands of then-No. 4 Maryland in the semifinals of the ACC Tournament on April 21, 2012.

Against Ranked Opponents
Since the 2008 season, Duke is 38-33 against ranked teams ... The Blue Devils have lost just five times to teams ranked outside the top 10 in the past five years ... The 2012 season saw the Blue Devils compile a 6-7 ledger against ranked teams ... Duke is 1-1 against ranked squads this season with a win over No. 11 Georgetown (March 9) and a loss to then-No. 4 Maryland (Feb. 24).

Duryea Garners Trio of Weekly Honors
Following an impressive performance in an 11-10 win over Georgetown, freshman goalkeeper Kelsey Duryea was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Week (3/12), the WomensLax.com Rookie of the Week (3/11) and the Baltimore Sun National Women's Player of the Week (3/15) ... Duryea made 11 stops against the Hoyas, including a save on a free position attempt with five seconds remaining which preserved the victory for Duke ... The Beverly, Mass., native has posted double-digit saves in two of her three starts in goal and sports a .533 save percentage to go with a 10.00 goals against average.

Current Blue Devils vs. Dartmouth
Seven current Blue Devils have recorded at least one point against Dartmouth in their careers ... Sophomore Kerrin Maurer tallied one goal and two assists in last year's meeting with the Big Green while junior Molly Quirke netted two goals ... Junior defender Taylor Virden has had a successful career against Dartmouth with five ground balls, four draw controls and three caused turnovers in two games.

Scoring Streaks
Two Blue Devils - sophomore Kerrin Maurer and freshman Kelci Smesko - have scored at least one point in every contest this season ... Maurer has also scored multiple goals in all eight games and has dished multiple assists in five contests ... Junior Molly Quirke and sophomore Taylor Trimble have each set new career-highs with points in seven consecutive games this spring.

Quick on the Draw
After eight games, Duke leads its opponents in draw controls by a 116-85 margin ... Redshirt junior Maddie Salamone leads the squad with 30 draw controls this spring and recorded a career-high nine in the Blue Devils' season opener against Virginia Tech on Feb. 8 ... Junior Taylor Virden (23), sophomore Taylor Trimble (21) and junior Maddy Morrissey (10) are also in double digits in the draw controls category.

Attack Duo Moving Up Career Lists
Senior Makenzie Hommel and sophomore Kerrin Maurer have both started the 2013 season in strong fashion ... Maurer leads the team with 20 goals and 18 assists for 38 points, while Hommel ranks second on the squad in goals (19) and points (24) ... Maurer needs just 13 points and Hommel 14 to reach the 100-point mark for their careers ... Maurer is also approaching the 50-assist milestone with 42 in just her second season.
