• Duke heads into Friday night’s contest on a six-game win streak after edging Harvard 12-11 over the weekend
• The Blue Devils’ six-game win streak is the longest active streak in the nation
• High Point is 3-8 overall and is coming off of a 12-10 win over Mercer
• The Panthers are in their first year as a Division I lacrosse program
• Duke and High Point are meeting for the first time in the programs’ histories

SCOUTING HIGH POINT
High Point is in its first year as a Division I men’s lacrosse program ... Led by head coach Jon Torpey, the Panthers are 3-8 overall with wins over Mercer, Towson and Michigan ... Three of their eight losses have come by two or fewer goals ... Dan Lomas and Matt Thistle headline the offense with 33 points ... Lomas owns a team-best 29 goals, while Thistle has dished out 17 assists ... Jamie Piluso is the top faceoff man, winning 108-of-199 draws (.543) and picking up 58 ground balls ... Garrett Swaim has forced 14 turnovers to lead all defensemen, while Pat Farrell and Lomas have 12 and 11, respectively ... In goal, Austin Geisler has an 11.48 goals against average, a .535 save percentage and 139 saves.
 
DUKE IN THE MONTH OF APRIL
Duke is 166-171 all-time in the month of April ... Often starting to play their best lacrosse in April, the Blue Devils are 27-5 in the month since 2007 ... Duke went undefeated in the fourth month of the year from April 7, 2007 - April 23, 2010 ... The Blue Devils have lost just three regular season games in the month of April under head coach John Danowski.

HOME SWEET HOME
After going 2-3 in its first five home games, Duke has gone 4-0 in the past four to improve to 6-3 overall at Koskinen in 2013 ...  Duke is 26-4 in its previous 30 home games ... Overall, the Blue Devils have fared well at home since 2005, going 80-10 overall ... Under head coach John Danowski, Duke is 65-9 in Durham ... Prior to the loss to Denver to start the 2013 campaign, the Blue Devils had won 10 straight home games, dating back to April 24, 2011.

REACHING THE PERFECT 10
Since 2007, Duke is 91-6 when scoring at least 10 goals in a game ... The Blue Devils are 11-22 when being held to fewer than 10 scores ... Duke is 24-22 when allowing 10 goals in a contest and is 77-6 when holding opponents under 10 goals.

AGAINST UNRANKED OPPONENTS
Since 2005, Duke is 48-3 against unranked opponents ... The Blue Devils’ losses to unranked foes all came against Ivy League schools ... The first was a 9-6 setback against Harvard, Feb. 22, 2009 and the most recent were a 7-3 loss to Pennsylvania, Feb. 26, 2011 and a 14-9 setback to the Quakers this season.

ONE GOAL GAMES
Duke improved to 71-61 all-time in games decided by one goal after beating Harvard 12-11 ... Duke played a program-high seven one-goal games in both 1994 and 1997 ... Duke is 13-5 in one-goal games under John Danowski and 2-0 this season with wins over Loyola and the Crimson.

WOLF NEARING 100 CAREER GOALS MARK
Wolf’s 95 career goals leave him five shy of becoming the 15th Duke player to register 100 career goals ... His 95 goals are the most by any current Division I junior and rank 16th among active players ... Zack Greer holds the career record with 206, the lone Blue Devil to surpass the 200-goal mark.

TURRI BETWEEN THE PIPES
Since moving into the starting lineup in goal, sophomore Kyle Turri has been outstanding ... Taking over for an injured Dan Wigrizer, Turri is 6-0 and averaging nine saves per game and owns a 8.09 goals against average and a .545 save percentage ... He made a career-high 15 saves in the 12-4 win over Towson to help him earn his first ACC Defensive Player of the Week honor.

OFFIT & LAWSON STEPPING UP
Senior captains Josh Offit and David Lawson have stepped up their offensive production this season ... The duo has combined for 33 goals and 13 assists for 46 points this season, which are nine more points than the 37 they combined for last season ... Lawson and Offit had 25 goals and 12 assists in a combined 39 games a year ago ... Through 12 games this season, Lawson has 17 goals and Offit owns 16, bettering their respective totals of 14 and 11 in 2012. 

OFFIT COMING THROUGH IN THE CLUTCH
In Duke’s three wins by three or fewer goals, Offit has netted a crucial goal in the fourth quarter to help secure the win ... Against Loyola, the Bethesda, Md., native broke open a 6-6 tie with 9:40 left as Duke went on to win 9-8 ... He gave Duke a two-goal lead, 10-8, with 2:35 remaining versus North Carolina and then had the go-ahead goal against Harvard with 5:25 to play.

FOWLER LEADS FACEOFF GAME
Junior Brendan Fowler has been outstanding at the X in his first season as the full-time draw man ... Fowler has won at least 10 draws in 11 of 12 games this season and won 74 percent of the restarts against No. 6 North Carolina ... He owns a 63.5 percent success rate at the draw ... Fowler is one of 12 faceoff guys in Division I lacrosse to win at least 20 restarts in a game this season.

FOWLER LEADS GROUND BALL GAME
In addition to winning 15.1 faceoffs per game, Fowler is averaging 10.0 ground balls per game to rank second nationally ... The Wantagh, N.Y. native is 24 shy of totaling CJ Costabile’s single-season record 144 from last season.

DUPREY MANNING THE DEFENSE
Junior longstick midfielder Luke Duprey has helped anchor the Duke defense all season ... He currently owns 27 caused turnovers and has picked up at least three in three different games ... His 27 takeaways are just two shy of matching his total from his first two seasons combined and rank seventh nationally this season... The Concord, N.H., picked up five caused turnovers against Notre Dame ... The five caused turnovers are the second most by a Blue Devil in a game since the NCAA started tracking the stat in 2010 ... Only Tom Montelli ‘11 had more with six against Sacred Heart in 2010.

UP NEXT
Duke completes the ACC regular season schedule next Friday, hosting No. 18 Virginia at 6 p.m., on ESPNU … The Blue Devils, 1-1 overall in the ACC, will look for a win to earn at least a share of the ACC regular season title for the 10th time in program history.
