QB Brandon Connette: Made his fourth career start at quarterback … posted his fifth career game – and third this season – with a rushing and passing touchdown … accounted for five touchdowns on the day (three passing, two rushing) … threw for three touchdowns, giving him seven passing touchdowns combined in two consecutive games to tie for the second most in a two-game span in school history … completed 20-of-28 passes for a career-high 324 yards … second straight 300-yard passing game … tossed his third touchdown pass of 50+ yards this season, connecting with WR Jamison Crowder for a 60-yard score in the second quarter … the three TD passes of 50+ yards match the third highest single-season total in Duke history … rushed 17 times for 55 yards and two touchdowns … ran for his 22nd and 23rd career rushing scores to set the school record for most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback, surpassing the previous mark of 22 set by Mike Dunn (1975-78) … now ranks third on Duke’s all-time rushing touchdowns list, trailing Tom Davis (28 from 1941-44) and Jay Calabrese (24 from 1965-67) … one of eight ACC quarterbacks in league history with 20 or more rushing TDs … ranks tied for sixth on the ACC list for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback

WR Jamison Crowder: Caught seven passes for 149 yards and one touchdown … posted his third 100-yard receiving game of the season and eighth of his career … hauled in a 60-yard touchdown reception from QB Brandon Connette for his school-record seventh career touchdown catch of 50+ yards … had a touchdown reception of 60+ yards for the second straight game … the 60-yard catch was Duke’s third longest play from scrimmage this season … grabbed his team-leading sixth reception of 20+ yards this season … has caught at least six passes in all five games this season

WR Max McCaffrey: Caught his second career touchdown on a seven-yard pass from QB Brandon Connette for Duke’s first score of the game … finished the day with a career-high four receptions for a career-best 54 yards … had a career-long 48-yard reception to set up Duke’s fifth touchdown of the day

RB Josh Snead: Carried the ball 11 times for a career-high 108 yards on the day … recorded the second 100-yard rushing game of his career and the first by a Duke running back this season … averaged 9.8 yards per carry on the afternoon … took his first carry of the game 53 yards for the longest run of his career and Duke’s longest rush of the season … 53-yard run set up Duke’s first score of the game … added an 18-yard run on Duke’s second scoring drive

RB Jela Duncan: Rushed eight times for 27 yards … caught a nine-yard touchdown reception from QB Brandon Connette in the second quarter … the score was the first receiving touchdown of his career

WR Johnell Barnes: Caught a career-high two passes for a career-best 73 yards … hauled in a career-long 50-yard reception in the second quarter … 50-yard grab helped set up Duke’s fourth touchdown of the day

S Jeremy Cash: Logged his third straight game with double-digit tackles … finished the game with 14 tackles, matching his career high … totaled a career-high 2.5 tackles for loss to bring his total to 5.0 on the season … picked off a Troy pass to end the game, recording the first interception of his career

LB David Helton: Made a career-high 15 tackles on the day, including 1.0 tackle for loss … it was the second double-digit tackle performance of his career … logged his fifth consecutive game this season with at least seven tackles … has logged at least five tackles in 12 of his past 13 games dating back to 2012

S Anthony Young-Wiseman: Logged his second straight game with double-digit tackles … finished with 12 tackles, matching his career high set last week against Pitt … had seven solo stops

CB Bryon Fields: Logged a career-high 10 tackles … made seven solo stops

DE Justin Foxx: Recorded his first sack of the season in the third quarter … now has 8.5 career sacks … had five tackles on the day
