The Opening Tip
• Duke hosts UNC Asheville in the opening round of the NIT Season Tip-Off at Cameron Indoor Stadium Monday, Nov. 18.
• The Blue Devils are 22-2 all-time in the Preseason NIT claiming championships in the event in 1985, 2000, 2005 and 2009.
• Duke is ranked No. 4 in both the AP and USA Today Coaches’ Polls. The Blue Devils are 56-12 all-time when ranked No. 4 in the AP Poll.
• The Blue Devils enter the contest against UNC Asheville with an NCAA-best 103 consecutive non-conference home wins.
Mike Krzyzewski has led Duke to 23 consecutive regular season tournament victories.
Jabari Parker has scored 20+ points in each of his first three games as a Blue Devil, becoming the first freshman in Duke history to top the 20-point mark in his first three games.

The Last Time Out
• Duke topped Florida Atlantic, 97-64, Friday as Rodney Hood and Jabari Parker combined for 49 points, 13 rebounds and five assists. The high-scoring tandem was 15-of-24 from the field.
• Hood scored a career-high 28 points on 8-of-11 shooting from the field and 12-of-13 from the free throw line.
• Parker tallied 21 points and 10 rebounds for his first career double-double. He went 4-of-6 from three-point range and added three assists and two steals in the win.
Andre Dawkins came off the bench to knock down five three-pointers as part of a 17-point night, while Quinn Cook added eight points, six rebounds and eight assists.
• Duke shot over 50.0 percent from the field for the third straight game. The Blue Devils were 34-of-62 (.548) overall, including 12-of-23 from long range.

By The Numbers
• Duke, ranked No. 4 in the AP Preseason Poll, has been ranked in the top 10 of the AP Poll for 115 consecutive weeks. The last time Duke was not ranked in the top 10 was Nov. 19, 2007.
• The Blue Devils are playing their 216th straight
game as a top-10 team in the AP poll. Duke is 178-37 (.828) in that span.
• Duke has won 12 straight NIT Season Tip-Off contests, dating back to an 85-69 loss to Indiana on Nov. 29, 1996.
Jabari Parker has scored 20 or more points in each of the first three games of the season, marking just the eighth time a Duke player has accomplished that feat. Art Heyman opened the 1961-62 season with 10 straight 20-point games, while Ronnie Mayer is second at Duke with four consecutive 20-point games to begin the 1955-56 campaign.
Jabari Parker (23.3 ppg.) and Rodney Hood (20.3 ppg.) are the top scoring tandem in the ACC at 43.6 points per game. The duo has combined for five 20+ point scoring games, while shooting 44-of-70 (.629) from the field and 66.7 percent (14-of-21) from three-point range.
• Duke has scored 90 or more points in two of its first three games and ranks 12th in the NCAA in scoring a 97.0 points per game. The Blue Devils are 270-8 under Coach K when scoring 90 or more points in a game.
• Duke ranks second in the NCAA in field goal percentage at .586 (102-of-174). All five starters are shooting better than 50.0 percent from the floor (min. 10 attempts) on the year, including sophomore Amile Jefferson, who is second in the ACC in field goal percentage (14-of-19, .737).
• The Blue Devils are shooting 51.6 percent (32-of-62) from three-point range this season with five players shooting better than 50.0 percent (minimum one three-point field goal per game). Jabari Parker leads the way with an ACC-best .688 (11-of-18) three-point field goal percentage.
• Junior point guard Quinn Cook is averaging 13.0 points and 6.7 assists per game with a 5.0:1 assist-to-turnover ratio. Cook is one of six players in the NCAA averaging at least 12.0 points and 6.5 assists per game with a 5:1 or better assist-to-turnover ratio.
• Duke bench is averaging 24.3 points per game and has had at least one double-figure scorer in all three contests.
