DURHAM -- As Duke prepares for the Chick-Fil-A Bowl on New Year's Eve against Johnny Manziel and the Texas A&M Aggies, the Blue Devil Network is taking a look back at the best plays from Duke's historic 2013 football season.
Each day leading up to the game, check back with GoDuke.com for another one of the moments that helped Duke to the first 10-win season in program history, and the school's first ACC Coastal Division championship.
Play number seven features do-it-all quarterback Brandon Connette. The prototypical utility-man, the junior signal-caller has become one of the best short-yardage runners in ACC history. Against Wake Forest, Connette became just the third quarterback in conference history to run for 30 touchdowns as he extended his own Duke record for career TDs on the ground.
Connette's effort helped Duke claim a 28-21 come-from-behind win against the Demon Deacons, a win in which the Devils clinched a share of the ACC Coastal Division title and tied the school record for wins in a season.
