DURHAM, N.C. – In conjunction with ESPN, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that the Saturday, Feb. 22 Duke-Syracuse game from Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham will tip off at 7 p.m., one hour later than originally scheduled.

In the season’s first meeting between the two teams at the Carrier Dome Feb. 1, Duke dropped a 91-89 overtime decision to the Orange. Syracuse remained unbeaten with the win and assumed the No. 1 spot in the national rankings the following week.  Duke knocked down a season-high 15 three-point field goals in the first meeting as five Blue Devils scored in double figures. Sophomore Rasheed Sulaimon paced Duke with 16 points, including a three-point field goal at the buzzer to send the game into overtime. Jabari Parker added 15 points and nine rebounds before fouling out with just under three minutes remaining in regulation, while Rodney Hood, Amile Jefferson and Andre Dawkins each netted 14 points. Jefferson and Dawkins also fouled out in the contest as the Orange had a decisive edge from the free throw line. Syracuse went 26-of-32 (.813), while Duke was just 12-of-17 (.706) from the charity stripe in the game.

The initial ACC meeting between the two schools averaged nearly 4.8 million viewers, making it the network’s third most-viewed regular-season men’s college basketball game on record.
