RALEIGH, N.C. -- In advance of its second round game against 14th-seeded Mercer this Friday, third-seeded Duke opened the 2014 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament with an open practice and media session Thursday at PNC Arena.

Redshirt sophomore forward Rodney Hood and freshman forward Jabari Parker represented Duke at an introductory press conference before the team took the court for a 40-minute practice in front of a group of Duke fans. Blue Devil Network was on hand to capture interviews and sights and sounds from the practice and media sessions. Check out the attached videos to see how Duke is preparing for Friday's game against the Bears.

The Blue Devils, in their 19th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and 30th in the past 31 seasons, will tip off against Mercer Friday at 12:15 p.m. in the NCAA Second Round at PNC Arena. The game will air on CBS and the Blue Devil IMG Sports Network.
