DURHAM, N.C— Duke University senior Tricia Liston will compete in the 2014 State Farm College Slam Dunk & Three-Point Championships on April 3 at 9:00 p.m. (ET) at Moody Coliseum on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.  

The 26th annual event will air on ESPN and features 24 of college basketball’s top dunkers and long-range shooters.  Individual elements of the contest include: Quicken Loans Men’s 3-Point Championship, Buick Women’s 3-Point Championship, Echo Battle of the Champions and Denny’s Slam Dunk Championship.

A finalist for the John R. Wooden Award this season, Liston will compete in the Buick Women’s 3-Point Championship. A First Team All-ACC and WBCA All-Region II selection in 2013-14, she contributed 17.2 points per game and shot 48.1 percent (87-for-181) from beyond the arc while setting a Duke single-season record for three-pointers made. Liston wrapped up her career ranked first in school history and seventh in ACC annals with 252 treys and shot 45.9 percent (252-for-549) from long distance.

Outstanding State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships alumni include: Gary Payton (Oregon State), Steve Nash (Santa Clara), Bobby Hurley (Duke), Allan Houston (Tennessee), Michael Finley (Wisconsin), Wesley Matthews (Marquette), Kyle Korver (Creighton), Damon Stoudamire (Arizona) and Jason Terry (Arizona).
