DURHAM, N.C. – Former and current Duke University women’s soccer players have taken their talents to the field this summer throughout the country. Recent graduate Mollie Pathman has seen action in every match thus far for the Boston Breakers. Meanwhile, seven current Blue Devils compete in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) and the W-League (Women’s Pro-Am Soccer).


Mollie Pathman – Duke ‘14
Forward, Boston Breakers
Pathman made her professional soccer debut during the Breakers season-opener against the Seattle Reign FC, logging 57 minutes. She has appeared in all 12 matches and started 11 games thus far in the 2014 campaign. Pathman has recorded 863 minutes of play, with three shots and one shot on goal.

Kim DeCesare – Duke ‘13
Forward, Boston Breakers
DeCesare recently made her professional debut during a June 19 match against the Seattle Reign FC, recording nine minutes.

Rebecca Moros – Duke ‘06
Midfielder, Portland Thorns FC
Moros has appeared in all 11 games, starting eight, for the Thorns. This is her first season in Portland, logging 719 minutes and six shots with three on goal thus far. She recorded a season-high 79 minutes in a 3-1 win over FC Kansas City April 26.

o    Colas has seen limited action this summer, appearing in only two games

o    Jandl has seen action in two games
-    Callie Simpkins, Duke ’13, F
o    Simpkins has not played this summer

Santa Clarita Blue Head (W-League), 3-4 (5th in Western Conf.)
-    Krysia Sikora, Sophomore, M
o    Sikora has seen action in five games this summer for a total of 213 minutes

Colorado Rush Women (W-League), 2-2-2 (6th in Western Conf.)
-    Lizzy Raben, Sophomore, D
o    Raben has made appearances in six games for the Rush Women, totaling 495 minutes

Alabama FC (WPSL), 4-4 (3rd in Southeast Conf.)
-    Toni Payne, Sophomore, M-F
o    Payne started off the season by scoring three of the teams five goals early in the season

Washington Spirit Reserve (W-League), 6-0-2 (1st in Northeastern Conf.)
-    Kara Wilson, Junior, M
o    Wilson has scored two goals this summer playing the majority of games for the Spirit Reserves
-    Gilda Doria, Redshirt Senior, M
o    Doria has appeared in five games this summer for a total of 196 minutes
