DURHAM, N.C.—The Duke women’s basketball program will feature five newcomers on the 2014-15 roster as head coach Joanne P. McCallie enters her eighth season with the Blue Devils.  The Blue Devil Network took some time out this summer to get to know the newcomers.

The fifth and final newcomer to be featured is a 6-0 guard out of Brooklyn, N.Y., Sierra Calhoun.  As a senior, Calhoun averaged 24 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 4.0 steals and 2.0 blocks at Christ the King H.S.  She tallied a career-high 43 points in a single game as a senior, while earning McDonald's All-America honors.  Calhoun earned Gatorade Player of the Year honors for the state of New York and MSG Varsity NYC Player of the Year honors.
