Personal: Claire Catherine Smalzer was born on Feb. 4, 1989, in Palos Heights, Ill....She is the daughter of Joe and Julie Smalzer...Has a brother, Joe, who plays volleyball for Loyola (Chicago)...Majoring in Evolutionary Anthropology.
