Prior to Duke: Four-year letterwinner in track & field at Columbus Academy...three-year letterwinner in cross country...state champion in the 2012 Ohio Div. III 800m run...member of the 2010 Ohio Div. III 4x400m relay state champion and record holding team...member of two-time (2011,2012) Div. III 4x800m relay state championship squad...named the track and field team MVP all four years...named the cross country team MVP for the 2010, 2011 and 2012 seasons.

Personal: Born May 18, 1993...son of Larry and Cindy Hilsheimer...has two older sisters (Lauren and Kristina).
