2012-13: The sprint specialist competed once during the indoor season, finishing 12th in the 60 meters at the JDL Fast Track Kickoff with a time of 7.89…Outdoors, clocked a season-best time of 12.49 in the 100 to finish seventh at the Duke Twilight…served as the consistent lead-off leg of the women’s school record breaking 4x100 relay, which finished third at the ACC Championships by clocking a combined time of 45.72.
2011-12: Duke's top sprinter during the indoor season, clocking the fastest time in the 60m and 200m...top 60m performance of the year came at the Hokie Invitational where she clocked a 7.84...fastest 200m occurred at the same meet where she crossed the line in 25.80...outdoors, focused primarily on the 100m and 200m dashes...ran the fastest 100m dash time of any Blue Devil at the ACC Championships where she crossed the line in 12.26 to finish in 15th place...named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2010-11: Duke's top performer in the 60m and 200m events during the indoor season...clocked a personal-best 7.60 to finish 13th at the ACC Indoor Championships...that performance ranks second on Duke's all-time charts...also ran the 200m dash on one occasion, placing 24th at the conference meet in 25.07 for the No. 2 performance in program history...led off the 4x200m relay that clocked 1:43.22 to finish 11th at the Armory Collegiate...that ranks first on Duke's all-time list...also set a Duke record as a member of the 4x400m relay team, posting 3:43.88 to take seventh at the ACC Indoor Championships...turned in the Blue Devils' top performance of the outdoor season in the 100m dash, running 12.20 to take second at the Duke Twilight...that ranks as the No. 2 performance on Duke's all-time list...finished 23rd in the same event at the ACC Outdoor Championships in 12.58...excelled on the Blue Devils' relay squads as well...ran the second leg on the 15th-place 4x100m relay team at the ECAC Championships, which set a program record with a mark of 47.46...4x100m relay squad also finished won the Duke Twilight (47.83) and finished ninth at the ACC Outdoor Championships (47.65)...as a member of the 4x400m relay, took eighth at the conference meet with a time of 3:44.96...that performance ranks second on Duke's all-time charts...ran the second leg of the 21st-place sprint medley relay at the Penn Relays (4:04.03).
2009-10: Indoors, recorded the No. 2 Duke performance in the 60m with a 7.78 effort at the ACC Championships on Feb. 26...also clocked the No. 5 all-time Duke performance in the 200m, running 26.17 at the conference meet...outdoors, clocked 25.17 for Duke No. 2 performance for 200m at the Wake Forest Open on Mar. 20.
Prior to Duke: 2006 state runner-up in the 100m...won region championship in the 100m in 2007, 2007 and 2009...team MVP as a freshman...named team Most Valuable Sprinter as a senior...member of the Spanish Honor Society and the National Honor Society.
Personal: Daughter of Casey and Lenoa Gary...has two younger siblings - a brother, Chase Gary, and a sister, Alyssa Styles...majoring in English with a minor in psychology.
