Todd Zafirovski: Winning the National Championship freshman year [in 2010].
GoDuke.com: What is your favorite part of being a Duke student-athlete?
TZ: The opportunities of being able to go to such a good academic school and at the same time playing one of the best collegiate sports in America.
GoDuke.com: Can you tell me about a time when you first started playing basketball?
TZ: I got into basketball just watching my older brothers play basketball and I always idolized them. I just happened to start playing basketball and then I grew to be really tall so I just stuck with it. I eventually got better than my brothers. One of them was a women's practice player here and the other played soccer in college.
GoDuke.com: Who would you say has been the biggest influence on your life?
TZ: My parents. My dad came to the country when he was sixteen and kind of made it himself, and my mom is my closet friend and has always been there for me. My dad was born in Macedonia and came to the U.S. when he was sixteen with his sister and his parents.
GoDuke.com: If you won the lottery, what would you do?

TZ: Take advantage of the opportunity of being here because you'll meet some unbelievable people and some pretty fun people at the same time.
GoDuke.com: Any hidden talents?
TZ: I am great at singing in the car. I can also make great chocolate chip cookies from scratch. I use the recipe on the back of the package, but no premade mix. I get the flour, eggs, everything.
GoDuke.com: What is one possession you can't live without?
TZ: I would probably have to say my cell phone. I am just always on it or talking to someone and checking whatever is going on in the world.
