DURHAM, N.C. -- The National Association of Basketball Coaches and the American Cancer Society announced today the matchups for the championship round of the 2014 Coaches vs. Cancer® Classic, an annual basketball event hosted by the Coaches vs. Cancer program, a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society® and the National Association of Basketball Coaches.  The event will benefit the American Cancer Society to support its mission to save more lives and help finish the fight against cancer.

On Friday, November 21, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Stanford will take on UNLV at 7:00 p.m. ET, followed immediately by Temple and Duke. On Saturday, November 22, the consolation game will tip off at 7:00 p.m. ET, followed by the 2014 Coaches vs. Cancer Classic championship game.  All four games will be exclusively televised live on truTV, a part of the Turner Broadcasting System.

Duke has won four straight games and is 4-2 all-time in the Coaches vs. Cancer® Classic. The Blue Devils claimed 2008 title with opening round wins over Presbyterian and Georgia Southern before topping Southern Illinois in the semifinals and Michigan in the title game.

Senior Quinn Cook along with juniors Amile Jefferson and Rasheed Sulaimon headline a strong returning cast for head coach Mike Krzyzewski. Cook and Sulaimon combined to average 21.5 points per game with 108 three-point field goals, while Jefferson averaged 6.5 points and 6.9 rebounds per game a year ago. Duke also returns talented letterwinners Matt Jones, Semi Ojeleye and Marshall Plumlee for the 2014-15 season.

Newcomers Grayson Allen, Tyus Jones, Jahlil Okafor and Justise Winslow join the fold as the top ranked recruiting class in the country. Allen, a high-flying guard out of Florida, received McDonald's All-America honors after averaging 22.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per game as a senior.

Jones, a three-time gold medalist with USA Basketball, is the top rated point guard in the freshman class after earning Gatorade Player of the Year honors in Minnesota in each of the past three seasons.

Okafor, a 7-0, 265-pound center, is the No. 1 overall recruit in the country after posting 24.1 points and 11.3 rebounds per game for a state championship team at Whitney Young (Ill.). He was also named the National High School Player of the Year in 2014 by Parade and USA Today.

Winslow also earned his third gold medal with USA Basketball and enters Duke with a reputation as an elite defender and tenecious rebounder. The 6-6, 220-pound forward averaged 27.5 points and 13.6 rebounds last season in claiming Texas Player of the Year honors for the second straight season.
