DURHAM, N.C. -- Duke guards Seth Curry and Andre Dawkins will be in Winston-Salem at the Chris Paul Elite Guard Camp this weekend. The camp, which runs June 10-13, is an invitation-only opportunity for the nation's top high school and collegiate guards.
Curry and Dawkins are among 17 college players invited to the Nike sponsored event. Other players participating include Brandon Triche and Scoop Jardine of Syracuse; Florida's Kenny Boynton, Wisconsin's Jordan Taylor, Louisville's Peyton Siva and others.
The Duke rising junior duo combined to average 17.1 points per game, while shooting 43.1 percent from three-point range, a year ago. Curry had 16 double-figure scoring games, including three 20-point contests, and shared the team lead with 64 three-point field goals. Dawkins had 12 double-figure scoring games and also knocked down 64 treys.
Curry and Dawkins will be relied upon heavily in 2011-12 as the Blue Devils look for the program's fourth straight 30-win season and a fourth consecutive ACC Tournament Championship.
