Mason Plumlee was named Ronald McDonald House Charities Duke Student-Athlete of the Week after averaging 20.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.5 blocks and 2.0 steals per game in leading Duke to road wins over Wake Forest and Florida State. He went 16-of-19 (.842) from the field and 8-of-10 (.800) from the foul line as the Blue Devils improved to 19-2 overall and 6-2 in league play.
Plumlee registered a career-high 32 points to go along with nine rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals in a mid-week win over Wake Forest. He was 12-of-15 from the field and 8-of-10 from the foul line against the Demon Deacons. Plumlee added eight points, five rebounds, two assists, three blocks and two steals while battling through foul trouble in Saturday's win in Tallahassee. He made all four field goal attempts in the contest while playing just 25 minutes (second-lowest amount of playing time this season).
Plumlee was also named to the Capital One Academic All-District III Team and Oscar Robertson Trophy Midseason Watch List last week.
