Atlanta, Ga. -- Two of America’s most popular sports crossed paths Saturday night, as the Blue Devils took in an NBA game as part of the Chick-Fil-A Bowl Week.

With the entire football team looking on, several familiar faces squared off as professionals on the court, as former Blue Devils Josh McRoberts and Gerald Henderson played for the Charlotte Bobcats, while Elton Brand took the floor for the hometown Atlanta Hawks.

At halftime, the Battle for Bowl Week continued with Duke and Texas A&M taking part in a basketball skills challenge in front of the fans. Jamison Crowder, Issac Blakeney, Anthony Boone and DeVon Edwards participated for the Blue Devils, as the foursome showed off their dual-sport talents.

Following the game, the Blue Devil Network had a chance to catch up with Brand, Henderson, McRoberts and Crowder to hear their take on subjects including the improvement of Duke Football, the continued success of former Duke players in the NBA, and a breakdown of the halftime festivities.
