DURHAM, N.C. – Three members of the Duke men’s basketball program received degrees from the university Sunday.

Graduate student Todd Zafirovski received his master’s degrees in management studies from the Fuqua School of Business, while seniors Josh Hairston and Tyler Thornton were awarded degrees in sociology and psychology.

Those three Blue Devils helped Duke to a 26-9 record, a 13-5 mark in the ACC, a trip to the ACC Championship game and a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Additionally, the men’s basketball team was recognized by the NCAA with a Public Recognition Award for finishing among the top 10 nationally in their sports based on the multi-year Academic Performance Rate (APR).
