Lindy Duncan will participate in stage II of the 2013 LPGA Qualifying Tournament, which will kick off on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, Fla. The field will play both the Panther & Bobcat Courses.
The tournament will take place from Oct. 8-11 with 18 holes each day. The top 80 finishers and ties will advance to qualifying stage III, which will take place Dec. 4-8 at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Duncan, who is out of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., competed in seven tournaments on the Symetra Tour following graduation from Duke in May. The 2011-12 National Player of the Year turned in three top 10 placements and six top 20 finishes, while earning $11,316. Duncan did card a tied 15th finish at the U.S. Women’s Open, which gave her a check of $54,755.
She will tee off on Tuesday beginning at 8:50 a.m., off hole No. 10 along with Benedikte Grotvedt and Megan Grehan.
