Team Notes: • For the first time all season, Duke did not have a 20-point scorer. Andre Dawkins led the team with 15 points. • Five Blue Devils scored in double figures for the fourth time this season and for the first time since UNC Asheville on Nov. 18. Duke is 6-0 this season when at least four players score in double figures. • Duke held Elon to 48 points, the lowest by a Duke opponent since holding Clemson to 40 points on Jan. 8, 2013. Elon scored just 18 first-half points, the fewest points scored by a Duke opponent in a half this season. • Duke held its fifth straight opponent under 70 points. Duke is 7-0 this season when holding the opposition under 70 points. • Duke won its 25th consecutive game in December and improved to 180-26 in the final month of the year. Duke’s last December loss came at the hands of Wisconsin, 73-69, on Dec. 2, 2009. • The win was Duke’s 53rd straight against a Southern Conference opponent. • Mike Krzyzewski improved his all-time record to 968-299 (.764) and his Duke record to 895-240 (.789). Krzyzewski is NCAA Division I’s all-time leader in victories and ranks second for victories at one school. • Duke played its 224th straight game as a top-10 team. The Blue Devils are 186-38 (.830) in those games.
Quinn Cook • Made his 47th consecutive start, the longest active streak on the team. • Scored in double figures for 12th time this season, sinking 4-of-9 field goals on the way to 11 points. • Hit a three-pointer in the ninth straight game and finished 5-of-7 from beyond the arc. Cook has multiple treys in four of his past five and nine times this season. • Logged four assists without a turnover for his second turnover-free game of the season. Cook owns a 3.15:1 assist-to-turnover ratio this season.
Andre Dawkins • Scored a team-high 15 points, hitting 5-of-7 field goals, all from three-point range. • For the third straight game, did not attempt a field goal from inside the three-point line. Dawkins is 12-of-22 (.545) from three-point range during that span. His last two-point field goal attempt came against Gardner-Webb on Dec. 16.
Amile Jefferson • Scored nine points on 4-of-7 shooting for his ninth game shooting over 50.0 percent from the floor. • Totaled six rebounds in 18 minutes, including three offensive boards. Jefferson has multiple offensive rebounds in four straight games and leads Duke with 29 offensive rebounds this season.
Jabari Parker • Logged his team-leading fourth double-double of the season, logging 12 points and 10 rebounds. Parker led Duke in points and rebounds in the same game for the seventh time this season. • Has scored in double figures in every game this season. • Registered a career-high three steals.
Rasheed Sulaimon • Scored in double figures for the second straight game, scoring 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting off the bench. Sulaimon is averaging 10.7 points per game over his last three contests, compared to 2.0 points over his previous eight games.
