Team Notes:

•    Duke held Georgia Tech’s top three scorers – Trae Golden (13.4 ppg.), Marcus Georges-Hunt (12.3 ppg.) and Daniel Miller (11.4 ppg.) – to a combined eight points for the game. Those three shot just .231 (3-of-13) from the field.
•    The Blue Devils hit six of their first eight three-point attempts, including 3-of-4 from Rodney Hood. Duke finished 10-of-18 (.556) from three-point range for the game, marking the fifth straight game and 15th time this season Duke has hit 10 or more three-pointers. The .556 clip is Duke’s second highest this season and the highest since Duke shot .619 (13-of-21) against Davidson in the season opener.
•    Duke played every scholarship player on the roster.
•    Georgia Tech hit just three three-pointers, marking the 22nd time this season Duke has held the opposition to five made three-pointers or fewer. Opponents average just 4.1 made three-pointers per game and are shooting .308 (106-of-344) against Duke this season.
•    Duke improved to 20-2 against unranked teams in 2013-14. Under head coach Mike Krzyzewski, Duke is 713-113 all-time against unranked teams, including 415-44 since the 1996-97 season.
•    Duke carried a 43-27 lead into halftime, marking the 24th time this season Duke has led at the break. Duke has trailed at halftime just once in 26 games this season.
•    Duke played its 244th consecutive game as a ranked team. The Blue Devils are 203-41 (.831) during that run, which began at the start of the 2007-08 season.

Player Notes:

Andre Dawkins

•    Scored six points to improve his career scoring total to 982. Dawkins is on the verge of becoming the 63rd player in school history to reach, 1,000 points.

Rodney Hood

•    Scored 14 points for his 21st double-figure scoring game of the season. Hood scored nine of his points in the first 5:49 of the game.
•    Hit a three-pointer in the 23rd straight game, the longest active streak on the team. Hood finished 4-of-6 from three-point range and is shooting .455 (55-of-121) from three-point range this season, the second-best clip in the ACC behind only teammate Andre Dawkins’ .472 (58-of-123) percentage.

Jabari Parker

•    Logged his ACC-leading ninth double-double of the season, totaling 16 points and 14 rebounds. The nine double-doubles are the third most by a freshman in Duke history.
•    Neared a double-double in the first half, scoring 10 points while grabbing eight rebounds.
•    Blocked multiple shots for the third straight game, finishing with three against the Yellow Jackets. Parker leads Duke with 34 blocks and ranks seventh on Duke’s freshman blocks list.
•    Hit at least six field goals for the sixth straight game, his longest such streak since he opened the season with 12 straight games of 6+ field goals.

Rasheed Sulaimon

•    Scored 11 points to record his 13th double-figure scoring game this season and 11th in the past 15 games. Sulaimon is averaging 11.1 points per game during that 15-game stretch.
•    Sank all six free throws to extend his made free throw streak to 16, the longest active streak on the team.

Tyler Thornton

•    Put together his fifth game in the past six outings without a turnover. Thornton has 21 assists and just one turnover during that stretch.
