Karima Christmas Maccabi Ramat Hen – Israel 2012-13 Stats: 20 games, 15.7 PPG, 9.7 RPG, 2.1 APG, 1.9 SPG, 0.6 BPG Christmas concluded her season as the leading scorer for Maccabi Ramat Hen, shooting the ball just under 50-percent from the floor. In addition, Christmas was able to shoot at a 30-percent clip from three, while grabbing 9.7 boards per game. Christmas recorded a double-double in her last three games, including 17 points and 13 rebounds against Eletzur Ramla in her last game of the season. She scored a season high of 20 points two times this season on Nov. 19, 2012 and Feb. 11, 2013.
Jasmine Thomas Vologda Chevakata – Russia 2012-13 Russian League Stats: 22 games, 8.2 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 2.3 APG, 1.0 SPG, 0.2 BPG 2012-13 Eurocup League Stats: 12 games, 10.7 PPG, 3.4 RPG, 3.1 APG, 1.0 SPG, 0.4 BPG Thomas has played a key part for Vologda Chevakata in Russia during the 2012-13 season, starting the majority of games. She is currently second on the team in Russian league competition, averaging 2.3 assists per game. In the first game of the quarterfinal round of the Russian league playoffs, Thomas led Chevakata to a 91-80 win, scoring a team-high 21 points. The team won its first game of the semifinal round in the playoffs, defeating Energy Ivanovo, 77-69. Thomas scored five points in 32 minutes of playing time in the win.
Krystal Thomas Jiangsu Phoenix – China 2012-13 Stats: 22 games, 17.6 PPG, 14.1 RPG, 0.5 APG, 0.3 SPG, 0.7 BPG Thomas completed her season in the China-WCBA league as the leading scorer for the Jiangsu Phoenix averaging 17.6 points per game and rebounding at 14.1 per game.
Chante Black Samsun – Turkey 2012-13 Stats: 15 games, 12.7 PPG, 11.7 RPG, 1.3 APG, 1.1 SPG, 1.5 BPG Black concluded her season averaging a double-double with 12.7 points and 11.7 rebounds per game. She finished second on Samsun in scoring, while shooting a team-best 51.9-percent from the floor in 15 games. She last played for Samsun on Feb. 2 against Besiktas, where she totaled 21 points and 13 rebounds in 36 minutes of playing time.
Mistie Mims (Bass) Union Lyon Basket Feminin – France 2012-13 Stats: 24 games, 15.0 PPG, 6.3 RPG, 1.0 APG, 1.2 SPG, 0.2 BPG After missing the first four games of the season, Mims was the leading scorer for Union Lyon Basket Feminin, averaging 14.7 points for the season. Mims helped Lyon into the semifinal round of the French league playoffs, before the team fell in two games to Bourges. In the first semifinal game, Mims scored 14 points on 7-of-10 shooting and grabbed four rebounds in 30 minutes of playing time.
Alana Beard TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow – Poland 2012-13 Polish League Stats: 8 games, 11.4 PPG, 3.1 RPG, 1.4 APG, 2.0 SPG, 0.0 BPG 2012-13 Euroleague Stats: 9 games, 15.0 PPG, 3.7 RPG, 1.4 APG, 1.1 SPG, 0.1 BPG After signing to play in Poland, Beard has appeared in just eight games in the Polish league season for the TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow, while averaging 11.4 points per game. In her fourth game of the Polish League season, Beard scored a game-high 23 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the floor. She ranks fourth on the team in scoring for the Polish league season. Wisla Can-Pak is currently in the finals of the Polish league playoffs, with the series tied at one. Beard has not appeared in a game for the team since Feb. 13 due to injuries.
Monique Currie CSM Targoviste – Romania Perfumerias Avenida Salamanca - Spain 2012-13 CSM Targoviste Stats: 2 games, 14.5 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 1.0 APG, 1.5 SPG, 0.5 BPG 2012-13 Perfumerias Stats: 8 games, 12.1 PPG, 6.6 RPG, 1.3 APG, 1.5 SPG, 0.1 BPG 2012-13 Euroleague Stats: 6 games, 12.2 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 0.8 APG, 1.5 SPG, 0.2 BPG Currie is playing for the Perfumerias Avenida Salamanca in Spain in the semifinal round of the Spanish League playoffs. In the first game of the semifinal round, Currie scored a game-high 18 points and grabbed five boards to lead her team to a 60-57 win over Uni Girona. Currie has been playing well as of late for Perfumerias, scoring in double figures in four of her past six games. In the 11 games she has played for Perfumerias, Currie leads the team in scoring with 12.5 points per game.
Sheana Mosch Flammes Carolo Basket Ardennes ASPTT – France 2012-13 Stats: 17 games, 13.9 PPG, 2.0 RPG, 1.6 APG, 0.8 SPG, 0.1 BPG Mosch’s season came to an end on April 6 with the conclusion of the regular season. She closed out her season playing in 17 games for Charleville, averaging a team-best 13.9 points per game. In the final game of the regular season, Mosch came off the bench and dropped a game-high 16 points in a 77-56 loss to Nantes in 35 minutes of playing time. Mosch closed her season strong by scoring in double figures in each of her last two games.
Jessica Foley Townsville Fire – Australia 2012-13 Stats: 25 games, 10.4 PPG, 4.8 RPG, 2.9 APG, 1.1 SPG, 0.5 BPG Playing in her home country of Australia, Foley closed the season as the third leading scorer on Townsville averaging 10.4 points in 25 games played. Townsville lost in the finals to Dandenong R. In the second game of the finals, Foley scored 15 points and made each of the six free throws that she attempted.
Carrem Gay Toulouse Metropole Basket – France 2012-13 Stats: 23 games, 9.4 PPG, 5.4 RPG, 0.7 APG, 1.6 SPG, 0.8 BPG Gay closed her season strong by scoring in double figures in each of her final four games, including a pair of 15-point games. Gay finished the season third on the team in scoring, averaging 9.4 points per game. Toulouse did not make the French league playoffs and closed the season with a 10-16 record.
Shay Selby BK Czech Coal Aldast Strakonice – Czech Republic 2012-13 Stats: 17 games, 14.5 PPG, 3.9 RPG, 1.6 APG, 2.1 SPG, 0.3 BPG Selby recently concluded her season in the second stage in the Czech Republic league playoffs. Selby finished second on her team in scoring for the season, averaging 14.5 points per game. Strakonice finished with an 11-15 overall record for the season.
Kathleen Scheer Hobart Chargers – Australia 2012-13 Stats: 4 game, 20.0 PPG, 9.5 RPG, 3.3 APG, 0.5 SPG, 2.75 BPG Scheer has played strong in each of the four games she has played this season for Hobart, scoring over 20 points in each of the contests. After scoring 22 points in her season debut, Scheer followed up with two straight games of scoring 21 points. She has also recorded two double-doubles in her four games as well, while averaging 30 minutes of playing time.
