DURHAM, N.C. - As the holiday season approaches, Duke Athletics has once again joined together with two local charities to help spread the holiday joy to children in Durham and the surrounding areas. Duke Athletics will host toy drives in Cameron Indoor Stadium for Men's Basketball on December 1 and December 19, while the Women's Basketball toy drive will take place on December 2.

Men's Basketball Toy Drive:
Spread a little holiday cheer this winter with East Durham Children's Initiative, Whole Foods Market and Zach's Toy Chest! Simply bring a new, unwrapped toy to Cameron Indoor Stadium on either December 1 when the men’s team plays host to Delaware, benefiting the East Durham Children’s Initiative or December 19 when the Duke men's basketball team takes on Cornell, benefiting Zach’s Toy Chest.

On December 1 all of the toys will be benefiting children in the East Durham area. For the December 19 toy drive all donations will be enjoyed by young patients at Duke Children's Hospital this holiday season and throughout the year. For more information about East Durham Children’s Initiative, visit http://edci.org/. Women's Basketball Toy Drive:
The Duke women's basketball team will also host an East Durham Children’s Initiative game when they take on California on December 2. At the game, any fan who donates a new unwrapped toy can purchase a general admission ticket for only $2! All toys will be donated to the East Durham Children’s Initiative for children to enjoy this holiday season. Collection bins will be set up throughout Cameron.
