LOS ANGELES, Calif. -  Duke University junior Chelsea Gray was named MVP, while sophomore Elizabeth Williams was selected to the All-Tournament team following the completion of the Women of Troy Basketball Classic over the weekend in Los Angeles, Calif., which was hosted by Southern California.

Gray earned MVP accolades after averaging 14.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 4.0 steals, while leading fourth-ranked Duke to victories over CSU Bakersfield and Southern California.  Playing in her home state of California, Gray closed the weekend with a game-high 18 points and 10 rebounds to go along with five steals and three assists versus USC.  A native of Manteca, Calif., Gray notched her second double-double of the season and fifth of her career.

The 5-11 point guard narrowly missed a triple-double against CSU Bakersfield with 11 points, nine rebounds and eight assists.  Gray netted a 1.8 assist/turnover ratio and hit 10-of-14 free throws in the two contests.

Williams earned All-Tournament team honors following a classic where she averaged 17.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, 1.0 steals and 1.0 assists.  In the opening contest versus CSU Bakersfield, Williams totaled 21 points, eight rebounds, one blocked shot and one steal.  It marked the second time this season the 6-3 center has collected over 20 points scored in a contest.

A product of Virginia Beach, Va., Williams tallied 13 points, five rebounds, four blocks, two assists and one steal in Saturday's contest against Southern California.  She has now blocked at least one shot in 43 consecutive games, which is the second-longest streak in school history.

Other members of the All-Tournament team include Sydnee Fipps (UC Davis), Blair Shinoda (UC Davis), Brianna Barrett (USC) and Janae Coffee (CSU Bakersfield).

Duke will be off for the Christmas holiday until Sunday, Dec. 30 as the Blue Devils will host Monmouth at 2:00 p.m., in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
