DURHAM, N.C. – The rosters for the 2014 McDonald’s All-America High School Basketball game have been released with two Duke signees – Lynee Belton and Sierra Calhoun – representing the East squad. The contest will be played on April 2 at Chicago’s United Center at 6:00 p.m. (CT) and will be aired live on ESPNU.
Belton led The Bullis School to the ISL AA tournament championship and earned second-team All-Met honors last season, after averaging a team-high 14.2 points. The 6-foot-2 senior is averaging 21.5 points in 2013-14 for the Bulldogs after missing the first 12 games of this year with a concussion.
A two-time First Team All-State, First Team All-City and First Team All-Tri-State as a sophomore and junior, Calhoun is coming off a junior campaign where she averaged 22.0 points, 7.9 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 4.0 steals and 2.0 blocks.
Duke will now feature eight McDonald’s All-America selections on the 2014-15 roster and the Blue Devils have had 24 McDonald’s All-America honorees attend Duke.
