Wells, who is a product of Colton, Calif., saw action in all 36 games, including starting the first five games of the season at point guard. She averaged 3.5 points and dished 62 assists on the season. She drained 13 treys on the year.
As a team, Duke registered a 32-4 overall record, won the ACC regular season title and the ACC Tournament title in 2010-11. The Blue Devils advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight for the second straight year. With its 32 victories, Duke posted 30 or more wins for the ninth time out of the last 11 years.
