DURHAM, N.C. –  Coming off its first loss of the season on Tuesday, the second-ranked Duke women’s basketball team (10-1) will host Albany (8-1) on Thursday, Dec. 19 at 6:30 p.m., in Cameron Indoor Stadium. The contest will be aired live on the Blue Devil Network via www.GoDuke.com. It will also be carried live on the Blue Devil IMG Sports Network on www.GoDuke.com with Steve Barnes (PXP) and Morgan Patrick (Color) on the air.

All families from Durham Public Schools will be able to purchase a $4 ticket to the game. If anyone donates school supplies, they will be able to receive a $4 ticket to the Albany game or another game.

A Look at Albany…
Albany enters the contest with an 8-1 overall record and is coming off its first loss of the season, 74-53, against Quinnipiac. Shereesha Richards (23.0 points, 10.4 rebounds), Sarah Royals (13.7 points, 3.7 rebounds) and Megan Craig (10.6 points, 4.6 rebounds) lead the way for the Great Danes.

The squad is averaging 72.4 points a game and hitting 49.9 percent of its field goals.

Duke Vs. the America East…
Duke owns an all-time record of 4-1 against teams from the American East -- Albany (1-0), Hartford (0-1), Maine (2-0) and New Hampshire (1-0).

Coach P owns an all-time record of 47-15 against teams from the America East -- Albany (1-0), Hartford (15-4), Maine (2-0), New Hampshire (14-3) and Vermont (15-8).

Last Time We Met…
Freshmen Chelsea Gray and Tricia Liston both scored 15 points to lead Duke to an 83-48 win over Albany on Dec. 9, 2010.

Jasmine Thomas added 11 points for the Blue Devils, who never trailed. Duke shot a season-best 58.9 percent from the field and had a season-high 19 steals en route to its 37th consecutive home win in December.
