DURHAM, N.C.— In case you were not able attend the Duke women’s basketball celebration earlier this week, the Blue Devil Network has provided the senior speeches from Blue Devil seniors Chelsea Gray, Richa Jackson, Tricia Liston and Haley Peters.

Today we will be highlighting a product of Manteca, Calif.  The 5-11 guard appeared in 109 games over her career averaging 11.1 points and 4.1 rebounds.  The two-time All-America had her junior and senior campaigns cut short due to knee injuries.  As a junior, Gray played in 25 contests before suffering a dislocated kneecap against Wake Forest on Feb. 17, 2013.  She averaged 12.6 points, 5.4 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 3.6 steals on the season, but still was named Co-ACC Player of the Year, Associated Press and WBCA Coaches All-America.

In 2013-14, Gray was averaging 10.8 points, 7.2 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 2.9 steals through 17 games.  Her 7.2 assists ranked sixth nationally and she needed only 35 more dishes to become Duke’s all-time assist leader.

Duke held its annual celebration on Thursday, April 14 at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club.
