Recap of Friday’s Touring –

Duke checked out of its hotel on Friday morning and headed to the Normandy region. On the way, the Blue Devils stopped in the town of Bayeux and grabbed some lunch.  They picked up a tour guide and went to see the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial.  Duke then headed to Omaha Beach where the largest military landing in history took place in Normandy on June 6, 1944.

While at Omaha Beach, the Blue Devils met up with some members of the Italian Navy and pose for photos with them.  Duke then drove an hour to Deauville and checked in its beautiful Hotel du Golf Barriere.

The Blue Devils only had a couple of hours in the hotel before heading to the game against Mondeville.
