DURHAM, N.C. – Duke freshman Abby Johnston – a 2009 All-America, ACC and NCAA Zone B champion on the three-meter board – is headed this week to the Speedo USA Diving Spring National Championships from April 22-26 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

Johnston will compete on both the one- and three-meter boards.

Johnston and the other athletes will vie for 10 national titles as well as spots at the upcoming World University Games July 2-12 in Belgrade, Serbia. Spots are awarded to the top two divers in each individual event at spring nationals who are eligible.
