Senior: Redshirt indoors in 2008. Outdoors Clarke was on his way to a PB 7,000 point plus performance, and a likely ACC title, before his pole vault no-height on his 8th event in Atlanta. Despite the zero points in the vault, Tyler was still able to muster 6,348 points to place 4th and qualify for the IC4A championships 3 weeks later. Day one of the decathlon in Princeton was a washout, however, and the rain deluge lowered point totals on the speed day considerably. The sun was out on day two, but Clarke had to settle for 6,642 points, a 3rd place IC4A finish and his 3rd straight All-East decathlon honors, Will have both indoor and outdoor eligibility in 2009.
