2012: Slated to start at cornerback ... most experienced player on the Duke roster having seen action in 38 games over the past four years ... seasoned veteran ... owns excellent speed ... versatile performer who has played both cornerback and safety during his tenure at Duke ... top returning punt returner on the squad ... in 38 career games (20 starts), has amassed 113 tackles, three INTs and 12 PBUs ... on the field for 1,622 career snaps ... among active Duke players, ranks tied for first in career games with 2+ tackles (24), second in both career INTs and PBUs and fourth in tackles ... has returned 35 career punts for 300 yards, good for a 8.57 yards per return average ... among active players in the ACC, ranks second in both career punt returns and punt return yardage ... has 14 career games with 4+ tackles ... has two career double digit tackle games with 10 stops against both Kansas in 2009 and Virginia in 2010 ... enters the 2012 season having recorded at least one tackle in 18 consecutive and 26 of his last 27 games dating back to the 2009 season ... in January, 2012, received a medical hardship waiver for the 2011 season from the ACC ... two-time Academic All-ACC selection ... one of three Duke players enrolled in graduate school, joining Brian Moore and Sean Renfree.

2008: Played in 11 games with one start ... tallied 12 tackles on the year ... had seven punt returns for 53 yards, good for an average of 7.8 yard per return ... recorded a season-high four tackles in first collegiate start against Miami ... posted two tackles against Navy, Virginia and Clemson ... also had two punt returns for 27 yards against the Tigers ... tallied four punt returns for 23 yards at Virginia Tech ... played a total of 220 snaps with 118 on defense and 102 on special teams ... played a season-high 69 snaps against Miami.

Prior to Duke: Played for Ted Luckadoo at Westside ... charted as the No. 80 cornerback in the nation by Scout.com ... recorded four tackles and one caused fumble to help South Carolina to a 31-24 victory over North Carolina in the 72nd annual Shrine Bowl on December 15, 2007 in Spartanburg, S.C. ... all-area selection by the Anderson Independent-Mail ... accounted for 1,263 all-purpose yards and 11 TDs as a senior as Westside went 10-3.
