2014-15: Participated in seven of the team’s eight competitions…garnered ACC Performer of the Week honors after leading Duke to a second-place finish at the Royals XC Challenge (10/13)…placed fifth in the season-opener at the Virginia Duals (8/29)…followed the performance with a third-place showing at the JMU Invitational (9/13), crossing the line with a personal-best 8K time of 25:11.70…concluded season with a seventh-place effort at the Three Stripe Invitational (11/8)…Outdoors, finished 14th in the 5,000 at the Georgia Tech Invite (4/17) after clocking a time of 15:05.85…did not compete during the 2015 indoor season.
2013-14: Did not compete during the 2013-14 season.
2012-13: Kicked off his collegiate cross country career with a seventh-place finish at the season-opening Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational ... recorded a time of 26:59.1 to finish 68th in his first 8K race at the Panorama Farms Invitational ... notched a season-best 25:33.2 for 8K in a seventh-place showing at the Great American Cross Country Festival...Indoors, focused on the 5,000 meters in his freshman year, running a personal best time of 14:55.29 at the Virginia Tech Challenge to finish second overall…finished 18th in the same event at the ACC Indoor Championships with a time of 15:16.19…did not compete during the outdoor season.
Prior to Duke: Lettered four years for Doug Butler at Holy Trinity ... Florida state champion in the 3,200m as a senior ... also finished second in the state in the 1,600m during his final season while guiding Holy Trinity Episcopal to the state crown ... in cross country, took third in the state during his senior season ... won the 2011 Great American Cross Country Festival boys' race while setting a course record at 14:57.6 for the first under-15:00 time on the course.
