• Duke returns to action with a pair of midweek games at Jack Coombs Field ... The Blue Devils host MEAC foe Maryland Eastern Shore Tuesday, March 18 at 6 p.m. before welcoming Ivy opponent Princeton Wednesday, March 19 at 4 p.m.
 
Last Time Out
• The Blue Devils improved to 12-8 overall and 4-2 in ACC play after sweeping Notre Dame in a three-game series this past weekend at Jack Coombs Field.
• Game 1: Sophomore Kenny Koplove drew a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the 10th to send Duke to a 4-3 walkoff win ... Senior Jordan Betts amassed three hits for the third time this season, while classmate Drew Van Orden struck out a season-high seven batters in his second quality start.
• Game 2: Junior right-hander Andrew Istler earned his third victory in as many starts while the Blue Devils amassed four, two-out RBI en route to a 4-1 victory ... Four of Duke’s seven hits came with two outs as Mark Lumpa, Mike Rosenfeld, Chris Marconcini and Andy Perez had an RBI apiece.
• Game 3: Following eight scoreless innings, freshman Cris Perez roped an RBI double to left to plate the game-winning run in the Blue Devils’ 1-0 victory in the series finale ... Senior Robert Huber earned the win in game one and a save in game two before tossing a scoreless ninth to secure the victory in game three of the series.  
 
UMES Series History
• Tuesday’s tilt marks the 12th meeting in program history between Duke and Maryland Eastern Shore ... The Blue Devils lead the all-time series 11-0 ... Duke and UMES first met during the 1993 campaign, while the two teams’ last meeting came in 2009.
 
Duke vs. MEAC Teams
• The Blue Devils hold an 80-5 all-time record against teams currently in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC): Bethune-Cookman (0-0), Coppin State (8-0), Delaware State (2-0), Florida A&M (0-0), Maryland Eastern Shore (11-0), Norfolk State (6-0), North Carolina A&T (41-5), North Carolina Central (12-0) and Savannah State (0-0) ... Tuesday’s matchup is Duke’s second against a MEAC foe this season ... The Blue Devils defeated Norfolk State 11-1 Feb. 26 at Jack Coombs Field ... Duke is also set for a home-and-home series with MEAC opponent N.C. Central this season.
 
Princeton Series History
• Wednesday’s game is the 29th all-time meeting between Duke and Princeton ... The Blue Devils lead the all-time series, which dates back to 1913, 18-10 ... The two teams have not met since the 2004 campaign ... Princeton is the lone Ivy League team on the Blue Devils’ 2014 schedule.

• Duke brings a 75-37-4 all-time mark versus teams currently in the Ivy League into Wednesday’s tilt: Brown (12-3), Columbia (5-1), Cornell (8-4-1), Dartmouth (8-5), Harvard (4-2), Penn (11-6-1), Princeton (18-10) and Yale (9-6-2).
