• Duke ranks third in the league in team earned run average in ACC games, posting a 2.98 ERA over its first 15 conference contests ... Duke, Florida State and Virginia are the only three conference teams with an ERA under 3.00 in league action.

• Senior Mark Lumpa leads the team in both walks (28) and on base percentage (.445), marks which rank fifth and sixth in the ACC, respectively ... The Saudi Arabia native has reached base in 21 consecutive contests, hitting .294 (20-for-68) with 23 walks during that span.
•  Redshirt junior Chris Marconcini leads the ACC in home runs (7) ... He also leads the team and ranks third in the league in RBI (30) ... Marconcini has driven in 30 or more runs in each of his three seasons at Duke ... The Brentwood, Tenn., native also has a team-best eight games with multiple RBI, including four games with three or more ...  In addition, Marconcini is one of two ACC players, joining Miami’s Dale Carey, to total six or more home runs as well as six or more stolen bases.
• Senior catcher Mike Rosenfeld ranks second in the ACC, throwing out 11 runners on stolen base attempts ... Rosenfeld is the only league catcher with 11 or fewer stolen bases against to also throw out 10 or more runners.
• Sophomore left-hander Nick Hendrix, senior Robert Huber and redshirt sophomore Conner Stevens have all appeared in 15 or more games out of the bullpen this season ... Hendrix has appeared in the most games of any Duke pitcher (17) and ranks seventh in the ACC in appearances ... The trio has combined for a 2.05 ERA and 57 strikeouts over 66.0 innings of work.

• Duke scored eight runs over the first three innings and never looked back en route to a 9-1 victory over crosstown foe N.C. Central Tuesday, April 8 at Jack Coombs Field ... The Blue Devils used nine pitchers in the contest with junior Sarkis Ohanian ultimately earning the victory ... Ohanian tossed 2.1 hitless innings, striking out five of the seven batters he faced including four straight to end his outing ... In total the Blue Devil staff turned in a dominant performance, scattering six hits while walking one batter and striking out 14 ... Junior Andy Perez reached base in three of his four plate appearances, scored two runs and notched an RBI to pace a Duke offense which totaled 10 hits.
