DURHAM, N.C. - After splitting a two-game series with Penn this past week, the Duke baseball team takes to the road to open its ACC schedule with a three-game set at No. 24 Miami. Game times will be Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.

Chris Edwards will call the action for the Blue Devil Network audio broadcast, while live stats will be available through both HurricaneSports.com and GoDuke.com. Fans can also follow updates of each game via @Duke_BASE, the official Twitter account of Duke baseball.

The Blue Devils are an even 6-6 on the season following an 8-1 victory over visiting Penn Wednesday. Freshman Michael Matuella tossed five scoreless innings in his first career start to pick up the win, while senior Jeff Kremer was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate. Kremer is hitting .438 over the past five games and has raised his season average to .308 for the year.

Quaker starter Pat Bet held the Blue Devils to two hits in six shutout innings to help Penn to a 6-0 win against Duke Tuesday. Junior Mike Rosenfeld, sophomore Andy Perez, junior Matt Berezo and sophomore Grant McCabe had Duke's four hits in the game.

Rosenfeld led Duke with a .312 average in 2012 and has picked up right where he left off, hitting .405 to start the season. The Mamaroneck, N.Y., native ranks 12th in the conference in batting average and is tied for second with six doubles.

Miami is 12-2 following a 5-0 win over Central Florida Wednesday. The Hurricanes' two losses so far came in a three-game series against Florida last weekend. Duke has also faced Florida this season, going 1-2 against the Gators in Gainesville opening weekend. The Hurricanes currently boast five players hitting over .300, led by Brad Fieger at .373.

Friday's game marks the 31st meeting between Duke and Miami in program history. The Hurricanes lead the all-time series 25-5. In 2012, the Blue Devils defeated the Hurricanes 5-1 in the series opener before falling in games two and three by scores of 2-1 and 7-1, respectively.

Next week, Duke faces N.C. Central at the Durham Athletic Park Tuesday at 6 p.m., before welcoming Quinnipiac Wednesday for a 6 p.m., game at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The Blue Devils will then face ACC foe Virginia Tech in a three game series over the weekend, starting with a 6 p.m. game Friday.
