Fourteen Duke Baseball Players Receive Degrees

DURHAM, N.C. – A total of 14 members of the Duke baseball team earned degrees from the institution Monday. Twelve student-athletes received undergraduate degrees while two were recognized for completing graduate curriculum.

Receiving undergraduate degrees were Matt Berezo (public policy), Jordan Betts (history), Aaron Cohn (history), Anthony D’Alessandro (psychology), Dillon Haviland (history & political science), Robert Huber (computer science), Mark Lumpa (economics), Chris Marconcini (sociology), David Perkins (political science), Mike Rosenfeld (psychology) Josh Ruffin (statistical science) and Drew Van Orden (psychology).

The two players to earn graduate degrees were Ryan Deitrich (Master of Management Studies) and Chris Kono (Master of Management Studies).

All 14 players are members of Duke’s 2014 squad which topped 30 wins for the first time since 2009 and qualified for the ACC Tournament for the first time in four seasons.
